Slot De Os Goonies
The Goonies Slot is a new slot from Blueprint which revisits the same design as Ted with some interesting twists. The Goonies Slot is based on the Steven Spielberg film from 1985 featuring 4 children on a adventure to get One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure.
Slot De Os Goonies Games
The Goonies Slot. Blueprint Gaming’s The Goonies should need no introduction. This game is, of course, based on the cult classic 1985 film of the same name. The Goonies was one of the first movie-themed releases produced by this developer, and they have gone on to do others since testing the waters with The Goonies. Slot Mechanics/Features
This has the familiar Blueprint feel of features with some new twists. As normal you can get random features or a bonus feature.
Let’s start with the random feature called One-Eyed Willy’s Riches which is randomly activated by the skull above the play button turning green.
However just like a typical Blueprint this can trick you and not activate either. Once activated you are presented with 3 Keys and it the key you choose may have the following feature:
- Truffle Shuffle Wilds – Wilds can go on the reels turning various positions wild for one turn.
- Mikey’s Hidden Riches – Any of the reel(s) can be turned into a wild reel.
- Data’s Colossal Symbol – 3 reels next to each other are turned into one Colossal Reel of 3×3.
- Mouth’s Lucky Coins – A random number of gold coins appear on each reel. Once the reels have stopped all the gold coins will turn into on mystery symbol.
- One-Eyed Willy’s Bonus Boost – A larger bonus symbol is added to each reel to give a better chance to trigger the bonus.
- Sloth’s Win Spin – Guaranteed to give a big winning spin by changing symbols.
There are also two additional random modifiers which can trigger on any spin which will turn a loosing spin into a winning one. A scythe can appear which will reset the reels into a win and a cave will collapse to reveal a win also.
The normal bonus is triggered by 3 or more bonus symbols which will take you a wheel to spin which bonus will be chosen for you, these are:
- Fratelli Hideout Bonus – Pick a key to reveal one of three possibilities: CASH ADD, HIDDEN TUNNEL or COLLECT. Cash Add will add a cash amount to your win and Collect will stop the bonus. However, if you get Hidden Tunnel the player can trigger any of the other 5 additional Bonuses.
- Skeleton Organ Bonus – The player is given the choice of many organ keys to press. If a character is selected it will multiply (by what is shown) the bet and add to total. An Upgrade symbol will increase the payout of all the characters whilst 3 keys will open the door to an additional feature. Hit three skull and crossbones and all your lives will go and you end the feature.
- Super Sloth Free Spins – A new set of reels will appear which have symbols of the Fratelli family on them. If during any spin the Super Sloth symbol lands it will turn all the Fratelli symbols all to the top symbol. At the end of the free spins you have a chance to get some extra free spins, One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure Bonus or collect to end it.
- Goonies Go Wild Free Spins – After the first spin, one of the symbols will become wild. At the end of the free spins you will be given some Copperpot Doubloons which can give Extra Spins (up to 5 with all the Goonies wild), One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure (feature) or Collect which will end the feature.
- Inferno Free Spins – At the start of each spin the Inferno will move across the reels from right to left turning between 1 to 3 reels wild. At the end it will give a wheel which can give Extra Spins (Retrigger), One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure (feature) or Collect which will end the feature.
- One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure – Collect 5 Bonus symbols or to land it will trigger it. The values will spin then stop awarding that win, this will continue until the booby trap is triggered.
Like all these types of Blueprints the feature can be gambled until either Mystery Win is hit or the top feature is awarded. A little change to this is that on some occasions the gamble will turn into super gamble when spun, guaranteeing a win. Be warned the odds of winning are not always as shown on screen (i.e. not 50/50).
What to look for
The bonus has a lot of potential at all levels, however you will notice that the lower levels are harder to hit that potential than the top level. Its based very much like similar other slots like Ted, Paws of Fury, King Kong Cash etc.
The biggest wins are in the One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure which can easily give wins of 100x – 500x on it. However, there is great potential in most of the features too. With so many bonuses available in this game it can be hard to say where the best one is.
The game feels like a Mid-High volatility slot with the potential to easily get 100x to 500x but also with the right setup up to 1000x. There are a lot of teases and lots of things can happen at any time however, I feel like this slot like another new Blueprint are harder to bonus and harder to get the higher features.
Whether this is true or not will be seen after a while but is our first impression of the game.
Final Thoughts
This is a Blueprint slot at its best, there is so much to like about it and this is the best of its kind since Ted came out. The teases however are full on in this game, more so than normal or seems so. This will delight a fan of the Film and Blueprint slots and will be the hate of anyone who does not like Blueprints.
Graphics and Sounds are spot on and stick to the theme amazingly well. The range of features are well balanced and interesting especially with the new twists of the end trigger bit. This is everything you want a slot to be for it to be entertaining. It was hard not to keep playing it!
I expect this slot to divide opinion but as we like Blueprints it’s going to be a thumbs up here and expect to see a lot of it on stream!!!

The Goonies Slot Review
The Goonies is a video slot from Blueprint Gaming with 5 reels and 20 paylines. This fun slot filled to the brim with bonus features was originally released in October 2018. You’ll be able to play it online casinos such as Casumo, Leo Vegas and other Blueprint Gaming casinos.
Theme and basic information
The Goonies is a Steven Spielberg classic from 1980 and has been a fan favourite movie for nearly four decades now. A ragtag band of boys goes on a treasure hunt facing off against evil goons as well as monsters real and imagined. It’s a fun movie and Blueprint Gaming managed to turn it into an amazing slot experience.
The graphics and visuals alone will leave you staring at the screen, trying to discover all the hidden details. The reels are set in front of a treasure map and many symbols from the movie make an appearance throughout the game. The symbols include a treasure chest (worth 300 coins in a 5-of-a-kind win), a rotting boat (also worth 300 coins), a skeleton and scales (each worth 200 coins), and the “Never Say Die” pirate flag (worth 500 coins). All the symbols are drawn in beautiful detail and for once we don’t even mind that the remaining symbols are made up of generic playing card symbols, because anything else would have simply been too much.
The wild is an ancient coin, which is also worth 500 coins, if you get five on a winning line. And the bonus symbol is the skeleton pirate (One Eyed Willy).
Basic gameplay
Honestly, there’s nothing basic about The Goonies. Even the base game comes with six bonus features that can be triggered randomly. When the One-Eyed-Willy symbol in the upper right-hand corner starts glowing, one of the boys will fly screaming across the reels, leaving behind three keys to pick from. You pick one to activate one of the following six add-ons:
- Chunk’s Truffle Shuffle – random wilds can appear over already existing symbols on the reels.
- Data’s Colossal Symbols – Three adjacent reels can become a Colossal Reel showing the same symbol. They may land anywhere on the reels (the left-most three reels, the three middle reels or the right-most three reels).
- One-Eyed Willy’s Bonus Boost – An additional bonus symbols may appear to trigger the main bonus feature.
- Mouth’s Lucky Coins – A symbol is randomly chosen by the Gold Coin mystery symbol. When a gold coin lands on the reels, a symbol will be chosen here to offer bigger wins.
- Mikey’s Hidden Treasure – Any of the reels will randomly become wild.
- Sloth’s Win Spin – A big winning combination is guaranteed when a random symbol is chosen and left on the reels by Sloth.
Additionally, on a non-winning spin in the base game a cave collapse and tumble the symbols off the reels, adding new ones for a winning combination from above. Or a scythe appears to reset the reels for a win, which is also an option.
Bonus features
If that wasn’t enough, look out for the bonus symbol to land anywhere three times on the reels to trigger One-Eyed Willy’s Bonus. When that happens, a bonus wheel appears, which you get to spin once. It will land on one of the following bonus games:
- Goonies Go Wild Free Spins – At the start of each free spin (after spin 1), one of the top symbols will become wild. Extra prizes are possible at the end of the feature –pick from the Copperpot Doubloons to get 5 extra free spins (with all Goonies wild), end the feature or get another spin of the wheel to play another feature.
- Inferno Free Spins – The Inferno (a ship) moves across the reels from right to left turning between 1 and 3 reels fully wild. This happens at the beginning of each spin. Here, too, you can get extra spins at the end, return to the wheel for another feature or end the feature by picking “Collect”.
- Fratelli’s Hideout Bonus – You keep picking keys to win cash prizes, end the feature or the trigger the Hidden Tunnel to get access to one of the other 5 bonus features.
- One-Eyed Willy’s Treasure –Cash values are spinning on the reels, giving you multipliers of your stake when they stop. This continues until the booby trap is triggered on the scales.
- Skeleton Organ Bonus –Pick organ keys to reveal multipliers, an upgrade icon for bigger multipliers or collect three keys to give you access to another bonus feature. But if you get the Skull and Crossbones three time, the feature ends.
- Super Sloth Free Spins – These free spins feature the Fratelli family. If a Super Sloth Wild lands, all the Fratelli symbols will transform into the top-paying symbols. Once again, you can either collect your wins at the end, get additional spins or unlock another bonus feature.
Conclusion: A rich and rewarding slot experience
The theoretical RTP (Return to Player) for The Goonies is 96%. That’s only an average value and honestly, we would have expected a higher RTP after playing the game for quite a while. The bonus features are a very regularly occurrence. A cold streak has never lasted more than 100 spins and afterwards we experienced three bonus features within 50 spins, whether we just got the random ones in the base game or triggered one of One Eyed Willy’s bonus features.
This slot was never boring – not for a minute. It’s probably the slot with the most features we’ve encountered. After all, you get a dozen plus random shake-ups on non-winning spins. If you’re looking for entertainment that doesn’t end, The Goonies is the game for you. Simple is not part of this slot.
Plus, visually the slot is great. The symbols are so incredibly detailed. And the movie served as inspiration for many special effects and gimmicks throughout the game. You couldn’t ask for more.
By the way, we found the Inferno Spins to be most rewarding as we were lucky enough to get 2 or 3 wild reels on every spin, winning 181x our stake in the end.
