Regional Transport Offices on behalf of the Government of Mizoram State issues Driving License to all the residents of Mizoram who are eligible and applied for Driving License. Driving License Eligibility Conditions in Mizoram:

• Mizoram Residents whose age is between 16 and 18 years, those are eligible for applying Driving License to drive Motor cycle 50 CC and below. These applicants must submit the Parents written consent.
• Mizoram Residents whose age is 18 years and above they are eligible to apply Driving License to drive non transport vehicles.

Mizoram Learner License Online:

After the submission of your Learner License application form you have to undergo a computer based Learner test on road rules and regulations. After passing the test Learner License will be issued, which consists of road test appointment date. Based on your Drive test you will get your driving license.

Note:

• The validity of Learner License is 6 months.
• Learner License cannot be renewed.
• If any applicant fails the learner test they can reappear for the test by paying fees.

Drive Test for Learners in Mizoram:

• A valid learner License holder whose learner license issue date completed 30 days; those applicants are eligible for appearing dive test.
• Drive test will be conducted in two parts. One is ground test and the other one is applicant’s skill on driving will be tested.
